Before or After? is the fastest history game in Quible, a quiz app for iPhone. Quib names a reference event, like the sinking of the Titanic, and a second one, like the first Moon landing. You decide: before or after? Both years appear after your tap. There are 96 rounds, 10 per session.

How does Before or After? work?

Each round has an anchor event and a target event. You tap "Before" or "After". Then Quib shows both years and one sentence of context, for example that the Titanic sank 57 years before anyone stood on the Moon.

With two answers per round, it is the quickest way to warm up, and it teaches rough timelines faster than memorising dates.

Which events are in it?

Inventions, discoveries, wars, buildings, first flights, founding dates of countries and cities. Many rounds are built to surprise, for example that Oxford was teaching more than 300 years before the Aztec Empire was founded, or that FIFA is older than the First World War.

The game is part of the World History chapter and one of the eight duel games.
