Closest Wins: the estimation game (and the free duel)
Closest Wins is the estimation game in Quible, a quiz app for iPhone. Quib asks for a number, like how many people live in Germany, and you slide to your guess. The closer you are, the more points. It is also the free duel: two players on one iPhone guess in turn, closest takes the round. There are 134 rounds.

How does Closest Wins work?
Instead of four options you get a slider. Quib asks a question with a number answer, for example the population of a country, the height of a mountain or the year of an event. You slide to your estimate and lock it in. Points depend on how close you are, so a good estimate beats a lucky guess.
A session is 8 rounds with 25 seconds each.
How does the duel for two work?
Closest Wins is the free duel in Quible: two players, one iPhone, three rounds. Player one guesses, passes the phone, player two guesses without seeing the first answer. The closer guess takes the point; if both are equally close, both score.
With Quible Plus the duel opens up to 4 players, 5 or 7 rounds and seven more games. Nobody needs an account or a second phone. More on quiz games for two on one phone.
